FirstLight Home Care opens in Kingwood to meet growing need for non-medical home care services
KINGWOOD, TX – February 2, 2018 – FirstLight Home Care®, an award-winning provider of non-medical home care, has announced the opening of its Humble, Texas agency, located at Kingwood. Local entrepreneur Gerardo Rangel owns and operates the location, which offers home care and senior care services to residents of the Northeast Houston area.
FirstLight Home Care of Humble serves area seniors, new and busy mothers, those recovering from illness, injury or surgery, and other adults in need of assistance. Highly-trained FirstLight caregivers are available to help with many needs – from cooking, cleaning and transportation, to mobility assistance and dementia care.
“My goal is to provide the best possible home care to help improve the lives of seniors, especially those who might not be getting the care they deserve,” said Rangel. “With the growing senior population, I believe quality senior home care is a much-needed service in our community.”
“Gerardo’s dedication to improving the lives of the people in his community make him the ideal person to open this FirstLight office,” said Jeff Bevis, FirstLight Home Care Chief Executive Officer. “His passion for senior care will surely have a positive, lasting impact on the clients and communities he serves.”
Since opening its first franchise location in 2010, FirstLight Home Care has experienced steady growth and is now serving or in the process of serving clients in more than 160 locations throughout the U.S.
