We know your first priority when choosing a home care provider is finding someone you can trust and rely on… someone who will care for your loved one as you would, and as we would our own. We’ve been where you are, and this is one of the main reasons we chose to be in this business.
Samuel Dan a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) is the President/Owner of FirstLight HomeCare of Bucks. Prior to opening FirstLight, Dan spent four years in the U.S. Army before completing his tour of duty in 2002. He then worked for nine years in corporate America as an accountant and business analyst before leaving to pursue his own business.“Being a small business owner has always been a dream of mine,” said Dan. “I wanted to find a role that would allow me to make a positive contribution to my community and the FirstLight concept was an amazing opportunity to make that happen. I joined the Army to serve my country and now I want to continue serving at the local level.”
Fueled by the growing need in Bucks County for in-home care and quality caregivers, Dan chose to pursue the home care industry after he realized the lack of long-term care options when searching for assistance for his elderly uncle. Extensive research of the industry proved this was the right concept to pursue as his next venture. “Our culture tends to overlook our elders and take their knowledge and wisdom for granted,” said Dan. “FirstLight provides options that empower elders and other members of our society that need assistance with activities of daily living and gives them the joy of living an independent life. I look forward to sharing my vision with the community and educating the seniors in Bucks County about how we can help them remain in the comfort of their own homes.”
