Providing Veteran Care to Charlotte, Matthews, Mint Hill and Huntersville

Here at FirstLight Home Care of Charlotte, a veteran-owned organization, we recognize that you have many options for in-home care for veterans. But what pushes us to continue providing high-quality service is the fact that our care truly does make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Members of the Greatest Generation face a wide range of ailments, from injuries sustained during duty to the challenges that arise simply from growing older. While we do have specialized nursing care for medical issues that may be impacting your loved one, our veteran care is so much more than that.

FirstLight’s experienced caregivers provide veterans home care that encompasses everything from assistance with daily household tasks, from grocery shopping and meal preparation to organizing bills, cleaning and doing laundry as well as personal care, including help with hygiene activities such as bathing, brushing teeth and getting dressed. On top of that, veteran care from FirstLight can provide your loved one with companionship, socialization and someone to talk to or respite care so that family caregivers can take some much-needed time for themselves.

We help your loved one age with respect and dignity in the comfort of their own homes, which is a win for everyone in the family. We’re proud to offer veteran care to service members who have sustained injuries, as well as those who haven’t, in Charlotte as well as the North Carolina communities of Charlotte, Matthews, Mint Hill and Huntersville.
