One of the Largest 800 employers in Charlotte

On October 20, 2025 The Charlotte Business Journal released their list of 800 businesses, nonprofits, and governmental organizations that employ 540,000 people locally, and FirstLight Home Care of Greater Charlotte was on that list. Our agency showed up at number 360.

“From an agency that started in March 2016 with one employee to be at the point we are at now shows that our model of focusing on quality first and caring for our caregivers works,” said President Ken Fleming. “In a saturated market of over 400 home care agencies with an address in Mecklenburg County, not to mention the unlicensed and “gray area” organizations, it is good to pause sometimes and acknowledge what we have accomplished while helping over a thousand families in the area.
