First Light was able to work with us when it came to scheduling, needing someone to fill in really quick, and all of the different … More services she needed. She needed help with showers, meals, transferring, and lots more. With First Light, the caretakers we had were not only personable, but reliable. They truly cared about my Grandma, and really had a positive impact on her days in hospice. I highly recommend them to anyone needing the care they provide, and trust that they will treat your family member the same way they did mine. -
I ended up having to have a caregiver much younger in life than expected and FirstLight was very easy to work with. Scheduling is a breeze and all my caregivers have been excellent and trustworthy. -

Our relationship with FirstLight just recently started in May. From the first consultation we knew we had a great resource for assistance with my Dad and total peace of mind. Jennifer Hager has been his caregiver and Dad just adores her. … More Last week, upon her arrival, she found that my Dad had fallen in the early morning hours. She took action immediately calling 911 and FirstLight stayed in constant communication with me as I traveled to get to the hospital. Jennifer stayed and cleaned up, picked up, and had everything perfect for us. I can't begin to express how grateful I was to leave the hospital and come home, knowing that this was already taken care of. My family and I wish to express our sincere gratitude to Jennifer and the entire team at FirstLight. Amazing People! Kim -

She took action immediately calling 911 and FirstLight stayed in constant communication with me as I traveled to get to the hospital. Jennifer stayed and cleaned up, picked up, and had everything perfect for us. I can’t begin to express how grateful I was to leave the hospital and come home, knowing that this was already taken care of. We used First Light Home Care for our mom. We really appreciated the people we worked with and the wonderful caretaker our mother had, Ruth Campbell. We always knew when Ruth was with mom that everything my mom needed was done. It was such a relief to finally have help outside of the family that you could depend on! Ken and Mary Ellen were also very helpful with answering our questions or helping us make changes that helped our mom. We are so thankful that a friend referred us to First Light. It was a wonderful experience for our family!

Ruby is the best care-giver we could ask for. She caters to my mom’s needs and desires effortlessly and happily. Just today she has mom outside, which is mom’s favorite place to be, doing chair exercises, getting plenty of sunshine, sunscreen applied and a glass of water by her side. And, appropriately dressed for the mild weather. Aaaaaand this is just after serving mom a healthy breakfast, giving her a shower and throwing in a load of laundry. FirstLight delivers with skilled and caring CNAs like Ruby. We feel beyond grateful!
I cannot express enough how thankful I am for First Light. Mary Ellen, Ken, Cara, Lisa, and the home health care workers are phenomenal. They are responsive, attentive, and professional at all times. Teresa, who helps my parents, has a heart of gold….she truly cares about my mom & dad, and takes good care of them on her twice a week visits. I highly recommend First Light to anyone seeking assistance with their loved ones.
