FirstLight Welcomes Anya Carey as Care Coordinator

Anya Carey has joined FirstLight Home Care of West Suburban Boston and FirstLight Home Care of Boston-Back Bay as a Care Coordinator. Her role includes overseeing schedules, managing client’s individual needs and the performance of the caregiver team. Anya works closely with our caregivers, clients and their families to find the best matches to ensure a supportive and collaborative environment that promotes mutual respect and trust. Anya graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts in English as well as a minor in French. Prior to joining FirstLight, she worked as a Case Manager overseeing home care clients.  She has also previously worked with children as well as in a customer support role in a customer-focused company. Anya has been dedicated to helping others throughout her working career and is committed to being a part of a team that helps people get the exceptional care that they deserve. In her personal time, Anya enjoys the creativity in cooking, literature, and film. She loves sharing good company, especially her friends, family & cat, Donnie.
