Kristina Torrey has joined FirstLight Home Care of West Suburban Boston and FirstLight Home Care of Boston-Back Bay as our Staff Development Associate. Kristina is responsible for hiring and onboarding new members of the FirstLight caregiver team. Her most recent experience was working as an HR support specialist for a behavioral health agency. Prior to her work in behavioral health, Kristina served on various management teams in the customer service industry, helping build strong relationships with her clients. For the last four years, Kristina has been providing care for her father who has dementia. This influenced Kristina to turn her passion for helping others into an opportunity to use her HR skills in a more meaningful way. While not in the office, Kristina and her husband Dave spend their free time in the cheering section of their children, Elijah and Grace’s many sporting events. Kristina and her family love spending time outdoors with their three dogs, tending to their garden and their seven chickens, and volunteering for various organizations in their community.
Kristina joins our staff development team headed by Amanda Nalepa. Kristina’s arrival at FirstLight Home Care reaffirms our commitment to attract and retain the very best professional caregivers and to provide the highest standards of care and service to our clients and families.
